Bedford Professionals First Anniversary

 Bedford Professionals celebrate their first anniversary!

It's been a busy first year for the Bedford Professionals group, which celebrated its first anniversary at The Lane, Castle Quay, Bedford on Thursday 7th February. The committee was delighted to see so many local professionals connecting and hope that over the coming year, the group will continue to grow.

Bedford Professionals is dedicated to the 'next generation' of professional practice owners and senior management aiming to build long lasting business relationships. With two 'formal' events each year and informal drinks every other month, this group provides a relaxed environment for the flourishing professional business community in and around Bedford.

"Bedford is a great place to do business and we want local businesses to feel that they can trust professionals in the town to work together to support them. We hope that members of this group will form relationships that last a lifetime and prove invaluable not only to their careers but to the growth of Bedford as a strong business centre."

Social Media is playing a big part in the groups growth. The Bedford Professionals LinkedIn group has around 135 members, and their twitter feed (@Bedford_Profs) is attracting new local followers all the time.

Bedford Professionals was launched with a key goal of developing the local professional community by helping its members expand their network and build long-lasting business relationships. 

The group is managed by professionals from five industry sectors - Anna Simmonds (Investment Management), Anthony Brice (Accountancy), Claire Berry and Mel Lawrence (Legal Services), Karl Abella (Corporate Banking), and Phillippa Martin-Moran (Planning & Development Consultancy) who can be contacted for more information about upcoming events.
